Vintage in Prague? There is nothing more grateful! Prague is made for vintage shopping! This is what I, a fan of all things retro and unique fossil, both in clothing and interior, thought when I moved to this city. Yes, there are a huge number of shops offering things with a history for every taste, but it's not that simple. To find the right places with valuable items, without getting lost in the variety of Chinese junk, a vintage guide is needed.
There are two well-known directions. The first one is for the inexperienced. In the city center around Prasna Brana and Tyn Church, there are many vintage shops. The most famous ones are Bric a Brac and vintage clothing stores The Item and Laly Vintage Clothes. In my opinion, the prices here are inflated, although if you are lucky to buy a cute item - you can. You can easily visit these places on your own.
Second - for the boldest. On weekends from 7 am to 2 pm, there is a flea market near Kolbenova metro station, Prague 9. This is a huge flea market, where there could be more antiques, but there is an abundance of Chinese discounted goods, expired products, and pickpockets. It is a dreary and dump place, and contrary to logic, not very cheap. I will not go there even with you.
But there is a third option - vintage. We suggest taking a walk with us, vintage guides. Real treasures are scattered all over the city and are revealed to connoisseurs in numerous private shops. Here you can become the happy owner of a unique Czech retro item: vintage toys, dolls and puppets, books, caskets, jewelry, household items, as well as antique guns, typewriters, Third Reich memorabilia, canes, exclusive beer mugs, and many other rare and beautiful goods. And all within 20-50 euros. For connoisseurs, you can find truly valuable and expensive items.
For lovers of extravagant outfits, unique accessories, and other knick-knacks from the 1920s - 1980s, we will show salons with vintage clothing. If desired, we will visit the very best second-hand clothing shops.
