About this experience
Uskudar is one of the most beloved districts by Istanbul residents. The Silk Road route ended here and pilgrims set off to Mecca from here. I will show you the most colorful quarter of the city, tell the story of the richest palace Beylerbey, and reveal the design of the magnificent Mihrimah Sultan Mosque. You will immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Asian part of Istanbul and want to come back here again and again.
What to expect
By ferry to Beylerbey Palace
Our tour will start from the Eminonu pier. We will take a ferry to the Uskudar pier, enjoying the view of the Galata Tower and the Asian side on the way. Then we will take public transport to one of the most beautiful and wealthy sultan's palaces - Beylerbey Palace, which looks like it has come out of an Eastern fairy tale. And of course, we will go inside (we will be able to enter quickly and without queues). Here you will have a wonderful view of the Bosphorus, and around the building, there is a picturesque park with many statues and flower beds.
Kuzguncuk Quarter
Next, we will head to one of the most colorful quarters of the city - Kuzguncuk. A picturesque town where you want to settle down, have coffee in small cafes, stroll through cozy streets, and enjoy the sea view. I will tell you about its history, customs, and culture. On the way, we will see the Mihrimah Sultan Mosque - one of the most famous attractions in Uskudar. Mihrimah Sultan was the only and favorite daughter of the great Suleiman and Roxolana-Hurrem. A soaring, bright, and brilliant symbol of Istanbul. Our little journey will end where it began - at the Sirkeci station.
