Uzbekistan is not just hot deserts and plains. Picturesque Chimgan Mountains, rivaling the beauty of the Alps, are located not far from Tashkent. That's where we'll be heading! You'll ride a cable car, enjoy the views of Charvak Reservoir, and relax in the shade of chinars. On the way back, we'll visit a modern park with an artificial lake and fountains.
What to Expect
A Different Uzbekistan
Join me to explore the beauty of the country's mountainous regions. The excursion program includes:
- Amirsay and Chimgan Mountain Resorts - you will feel the pleasant coolness, breathe in the crystal clear air, and admire the majestic mountain landscapes. Optionally, you can ride the cable car: either the old chairlift or the modern one with enclosed cabins.
- Charvak Reservoir - we will stop at a high hill and enjoy the views of the famous turquoise lake framed by Tien Shan Mountains. I will tell you the story of how the reservoir was created and share interesting tales connected to it.
- Village of Khodjikent - you will see 850-year-old chinars, a small mountain waterfall, and ancient petroglyphs on the rocks. Relax in the shade of trees and delve into local history.
- New Uzbekistan Park - we will visit a super-modern park opened in celebration of the country's thirtieth independence anniversary. Explore the artificial lake, fountains, amphitheater, and unique art objects.
