About this experience
Just 1.5 hours away - and you are no longer in the bustling Tashkent, but surrounded by mountains. Enjoy their tranquility, silent majesty, and eternal beauty. I will show you the main places of the Chimgan district and even more! You will see the azure Charvak Reservoir and take a ride on the cable cars of the year-round Amirsoy resort and the Big Chimgan mountain. And also go on a short hike to the Bride's Veil Waterfall and the Chatkal River.
What to expect
Fascinating mountain landscapes
You will visit the most vivid natural places in the outskirts of Tashkent. The tour program includes:
- Year-round mountain resort Amirsoy. It is famous not only for its ski slopes but also for beautiful viewing platforms and walking trails, to which a well-equipped cable car with closed cabins leads. From there, mesmerizing views of the surrounding mountain landscapes unfold.
- Big Chimgan mountain - a viewing platform is arranged right on the slope of the mountain, to which an open chairlift cable car leads. We will use it to admire the surrounding snow-capped peaks.
- Bride's Veil Waterfall and Chatkal River - through the gorge, we will take a walk to the fairy-tale waterfall, whose silver threads resemble delicate lace covering the rocky massif. And then we will descend to the ancient bridge over the Chatkal River, from where you can feel the full power of the mountain river squeezed by rocks.
- Charvak Reservoir - you will admire from the viewing platforms its turquoise smoothness, surrounded by a ring of mountains. In total, three viewing points await us, each of which reveals the reservoir from a new perspective!
At the end, we can stop for a snack at one of the many cafes near the mountains.
