The Chimgan Mountains and the mountain reservoir Charvak are favorite places for country holidays for many residents of Tashkent and guests of the capital. Two hours on the road, and you are at the border of civilization and wild nature. In a comfortable trip to the best countryside, you will have time to relax from the city fuss, breathe clean mountain air - all this under fascinating storytelling.
What to expect
- Departure from Tashkent to the Chimgan Mountains (80 km, about two hours). The road to the Chimgan Mountains passes through picturesque settlements of the Tashkent region, about which the guide will tell you.
- Visit to the Amirsoy Ski Resort. Ascent on the cable car to the top of the Kumbel ridge (2300 m) with a great view of the surrounding mountains and the Big Chimgan.
- Transfer to the Chimgan tourist base. Optionally, on the spot, you can take a cable car to the viewing platform of the Big Chimgan or ride horses in the gorge at the foot of the mountain.
- Trip to the shore of the artificial Charvak reservoir. You will see a lake with a coastline of 100 kilometers.
- Stop at a restaurant. Before lunch, you can explore small rocks with ancient petroglyphs.
