What to Expect
Café with a stunning view
We will stop by the resort town of Varkiza, where I will treat you to coffee at a local favorite spot overlooking the sea and tell you how the Greeks live: what they eat, drink, and how they spend their free time.
Winery and the best beaches of the Athens Riviera
You will visit a family winery producing excellent wine since 1875. You will hear its history, explore the ancient cellars, and taste wines of traditional Greek grape varieties: malagousia, savatiano, agiorgitiko, and assyrtiko. Next, you will enjoy the purest beaches of Lagonisi, Anavyssos, and a small village in the Cycladic style with a white and blue church by the sea. You will swim in a bay with turquoise water and take photos reminiscent of Santorini. On the way back, we will stop by a favorite tavern of the Greeks, where you will try gyros or calamari.
Organizational Details
The tour takes place in a Volkswagen car. The car is equipped with air conditioning, napkins, and drinking water.
