About this experience
There are so many masterpieces of different eras in the Uffizi that it is easy to get lost and not grasp the meaning of paintings and sculptures. I will guide you through the halls from the very origins of art and gradually tell you about the symbols of the paintings and the artists, neatly weaving their ideas into the times when they lived and created. You will get closer to beauty, understand art, and learn to distinguish the works of Raphael and Michelangelo.
What to expect
Art in order
To give you the correct impression of the different stages in art, we will visit the halls in chronological order: from antiquity to the 17th century. First, you will study the works in the icon painting hall, then the canvases of the Early Renaissance, followed by the work of Botticelli. Examining the octagonal Tribune Hall, you will already anticipate the encounter with the masterpieces of Leonardo da Vinci. And after the genius of Leonardo, you will evaluate the no less talented painting of his contemporaries - Michelangelo and Raphael. The Neoclassical Hall with ancient sculptures will enrich splendid paintings. The portraits of the Medici will bring you closer to the lives of crowned individuals. And the halls where the works of Titian and Caravaggio are exhibited will complete your journey through the world of geniuses, leaving a tangible desire to create something beautiful!
About the secrets of the Medici, the competition of Renaissance geniuses, and other episodes of history
I will fill the paintings of artists with meaning, in which you previously only saw poetry and beauty. Some works we will simply look at, others we will dissect into plots for easier perception. In addition to stories about symbolism and painting techniques, I will share stories of the master's lives: you will learn about the silent confrontation between Leonardo da Vinci and Raphael, reveal the veil of secrecy over the life of the powerful Medici dynasty, hear about the canons of medieval female beauty, and many other intriguing secrets and events.
