About this experience
The Caucasian Troll's Language with views of the mountain peaks, the Lower Blue Lake, Cherkeska Gorge - we have gathered the top places for you, without which it is difficult to imagine Kabardino-Balkaria. They are beautiful in any season! In a jeep tour with a group of up to 6 people, we will drive along the serpentine road, fully enjoying the nature, and relax at the hot springs.
The tour starts in Kislovodsk. We can pick you up from Essentuki and Pyatigorsk along the way.
What to Expect
Getting to know the mountainous Kabardino-Balkaria
We start at 7 am, as the road from Kislovodsk, although picturesque, is not close, and there is much to see without rushing. An experienced guide will take you in a jeep and along the way will share interesting facts and legends about the local area. The schedule you see is approximate.
8:30 - the first technical stop at the border with Kabardino-Balkaria. If you haven't had breakfast before departure, you can do it here at the cafe.
10:00 - Chateau Erken in the middle of the lake. Suddenly we find ourselves in Europe, admire the castle on the water, swans, ducks, and other wildlife in the enclosures.
10:30 - we head to the high-mountain village Bezengi.
12:30 - Troll's Language. This place takes your breath away no less than the Norwegian ledge. From here you can see the peaks of the five-thousand-meter mountains, the Bezengi Wall, and the eponymous glacier. You will have an hour to enjoy all this beauty. Here we will also have lunch at a local cafe with national cuisine (another half an hour).
14:00 - Lower Blue Lake, or Tserik-Kyol. It attracts with its unusually beautiful water color. And its depth is a whole 320 meters - this is one of the deepest lakes in Russia.
15:00 - Cherkeska Gorge. We will drive to this rugged gorge with cliffs of 1000 meters that literally hang over the road. 20-30 minutes for a walk and photos.
16:00 - Aushiger Thermal Springs (optional). Here you will relax after a busy day in mineral water with a temperature of 40-50 degrees. Then we will head back.

- We are not responsible for the weather conditions. The weather in the mountains is changeable - before the trip, please check the forecast.
- Please note: the weather in the mountains changes very quickly. In February and March, the road to Troll's Language may be snow-covered, in which case we will change the route and go to Upper Balkaria to the watchtowers of the Abaev brothers from the 17th century.
