About this experience
They say: who has been to Lithuania and has not been to Trakai, has not been to Lithuania! The small Lithuanian town of Trakai attracts tourists from all over the world for a reason. Here, on a tiny island in Lake Galve, is the famous Gothic castle of the 14th century - the only one in all of Europe. And the town literally stands on water - lakes surround it from all sides. In total, there are about two hundred lakes here. I will introduce you to the architectural monuments of these places, as well as to the culture and traditions of the unique Karaim people, who have been living in Trakai since the 14th century.
Trakai, one of the oldest capitals of Lithuania, is the most impregnable fortress in Eastern Europe and was the residence of the great Lithuanian dukes for a long time, now it houses the Trakai Historical Museum.
