About this experience
This journey is a gateway to the world of Balinese traditions and an opportunity to feel the island's energy. You will start the day with meditation in a mountain temple, experience the magic of nature at Mount Batur, participate in the purification ritual at Gunung Kawi Sebatu temple, and learn about the Balinese way of life for happiness and gratitude.
What to Expect
Morning Meditation in a High Mountain Temple
Our journey begins at one of Bali's power places - an ancient temple hidden in the mountains. You will feel like you are on the edge of the world, with stunning views from the Indian Ocean to the Batur, Agung, and Abang volcanoes. Alone with Bali's nature, you will meditate in the temple and prepare for the day ahead.
Panoramas of Mount Batur
Next, we will visit a lookout point of Mount Batur. After taking in more breathtaking views, we will visit exotic fruit plantations and taste local coffee varieties. For those who love vibrant photos, there are high swings, a favorite Balinese prop for photos.
Purification Ritual at Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple
On the way, I will share the most important information about Balinese religion, traditions, and rituals, but you will be able to immerse yourself in this world practically in the village of Sebatu. Tourists rarely come here, so this place has preserved a harmonious atmosphere. We will visit the cozy temple complex of Gunung Kawi Sebatu with sacred springs and authentic baths. In one of them, you can participate in the Melukat ritual, which will clear your mind and purify your spirit. I will help you follow all the ritual canons and explain its significance.
