About this experience
Bali attracts people from all over the world with its unique spiritual practices. You will visit an ancient temple, stand under the cool streams of a waterfall, clearing your mind of negative thoughts, and undergo a true Balinese soul and body cleansing ceremony. And then you will admire the beauty of the island, strolling through rice terraces and capturing memorable and colorful photos in the Alas Harum Bali landscaped park.
What to Expect
During the tour, you will learn about the spiritual practices of body and mind purification that exist in Bali and immerse yourself in the centuries-old culture of rice cultivation. In this truly magical journey, we have combined what is traditional and sacred to the Balinese, so that you can be filled with the island's energy. So, in the program:
- First, we will head to the holy springs of Sebatu—a place particularly revered by the Balinese. Locals believe that standing under the waterfall's streams will cleanse the mind of negative thoughts, while the body and mind will be filled with new strength and energy. It is very pleasant to plunge into the foamy cool waterfall, even if you do not share these beliefs. Before bathing, you will undergo a traditional Balinese ceremony with incense and flower offerings.
- Next, we will visit the Tirta Empul temple complex, built at the end of the first millennium of our era. On the premises, there is a unique holy spring where, if you wish, you can perform Melukat—a purification of the body and mind.
- After the rituals, you will want to slow down and peacefully contemplate the abundant natural beauty of Bali. Therefore, the next location will be the hidden Tegenungan waterfall nestled in tropical jungles, standing at 25 meters high.
- Then we will visit the Tegalalang rice terraces and the Alas Harum Bali landscaped park, where you will learn about rice cultivation and have time for photography. Here, you will have lunch in a cozy restaurant overlooking the terraces. For an additional fee, you can taste the legendary Luwak coffee and swing on swings.
