Bali boasts numerous temples welcoming people of all faiths, as long as they come with good intentions. I will guide you through the sanctuaries of Bali and show you the island's richness - the real plantations!
What to Expect
Besakih Temple: Place of Power
Whether you are curious to explore local temples, seeking to cleanse your body and soul, or hoping for your deepest wishes to come true - the first landmark will fulfill everyone's desires. In Tegalalang area, you will visit Besakih Temple and participate in the Melukat ritual. The goal of the ritual is to clear your mind and spirit, eliminate any negative influences. Don't worry if it's your first time, I will explain how to perform everything correctly. You can ask for the most important things at the sacred spring near the temple. From experience, I can say that many wishes made on our island do come true!
Gunung Kawi Temple: Serenity and Tranquility
In the village of Sebatu, we will visit a cozy temple complex from the 13th century with a large green area. This place is known for its holy springs and baths for you to immerse yourself in. The peaceful and idyllic atmosphere here, due to the rare visitors, allows you to explore the grounds undisturbed and absorb the tranquility of the residents and Balinese life in general.
Lunch on the volcano crater
Close to the picturesque highland village, you will have lunch. But this place has a history - 50000 years ago, a mighty super volcano erupted here, turning into a giant crater. By the ancient caldera's shore, we will enjoy various Balinese buffet dishes. The backdrop will be the panorama of Lake Batur and the new volcano!
