Koprulu and Tazy Canyons Group Expedition from Alanya: Rafting and Jeeping/Cabrio Safari
About this experience
The preserved Koprulu Canyon is untouched nature, the sound of river rapids, and breathtaking landscapes. We will take you by bus to the starting point. Then you will switch to 10-seat boats and start rafting down the river. After that, you will ride in jeeps or cabrio buses to Tazy Canyon, also known as the 'Valley of Wisdom', and enjoy the panoramic view from a height.
What to expect
Jeeping and panoramic views of Tazy Canyon. On the way, you will admire the mountainous nature, but the main goal of this trip is the observation deck with a dizzying view of the gorge. You will have time to enjoy this spectacle and take photos.
Rafting on the Koprucay River. We will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the Koprulu Canyon. After a briefing and equipment distribution, you will descend to the river - and the fun begins! Enjoy the impressive landscapes of the Koprulu Canyon and the route with rapids that will add adrenaline to your adventure.
Lunch. Afterwards, we will return to the base, where you can change clothes and have lunch.
Upon returning to the base, you can view the photos taken during rafting and, for an additional fee, receive in print your favorite one, as well as purchase a flash drive with the rafting video.
Who is this trip for
The rapids range from 1 to 2 in difficulty, making rafting suitable for both beginners and experienced professionals.
Program
- Meeting travelers and departure from the hotel (07:00 — 08:30)
- Arrival at the Koprulu Canyon territory (Beskonak) around 10:30
- Departure in jeeps or cabrio buses to Tazy Canyon (45 minutes on the road)
- Free time at the observation deck above the cliff (20 minutes)
- Return journey in jeeps or cabrio buses
- Safety briefing and equipment distribution for rafting
- Rafting start, 10 km descent with stops
- Return to the base, late lunch (around 15:30 – 16:00)
- Departure from Beskonak base
- Return to hotels (19:30 — 20:30)
Organizational Details
How the trip goes
- Please note: this is a sightseeing tour without a guide. There will be a Russian- and English-speaking curator with you; before the rafting, they will provide all safety information and guidance through the rapids.
- The distance from the center of Alanya to the Koprulu Canyon is 130 km
- The boats are designed for 10 people and a guide-rower
- We reach Tazy Canyon by jeeps or cabrio buses
- The sequence of the program points and the duration of the excursion may vary depending on the weather and the number of participants
- There will be guests from different countries on the tour
- Children under 3 years old do not have a separate seat provided in the transfer. Children sit together with adults (on hands). There is also no personal lunch provided for children, they eat with their parents. If you want your child under 3 years old to have a separate seat in the transfer and receive a personal lunch, you need to order a corresponding ticket for them.
