About this experience
Capri, Ischia, and Procida are the islands of the Gulf of Naples, each unique and charming in its own way. A trip to any of them will give you lots of pleasant memories, a good mood, and perhaps a desire to return to these places.
What to expect
Luxurious Capri
The island of Capri is synonymous with success, wealth, and glamour. It has gained worldwide fame thanks to its stunning natural beauty of the sea, cliffs, various grottoes, architectural monuments, and celebrities who have visited this tiny but endlessly beautiful island.
Our walk will start right from Marina Grande Port, from where we will take the funicular to the famous Piazzetta, and then through narrow streets we will reach the Gardens of Augustus, where you will see a magnificent panorama. For those interested, a walk along a more challenging route is also possible, allowing you to see up close such attractions as the Natural Arch, the Matermania Cave, or take a walk to the romantic villa Lysis. Next, moving to the town of Anacapri, I suggest you climb to the highest point of the island - Monte Solaro, which offers another panorama, but now overlooking the entire Gulf of Naples and the island itself. Descending from the summit, you can visit the villa of the famous doctor and philanthropist Anselm Münster, rebuilt from the ancient abbey building.
Castle and thermal springs on Ischia
The island of Ischia will undoubtedly captivate you with its evergreen mountains, crystal-clear sea water, thermal springs, and, of course, architectural monuments, the main one being Aragonese Castle - an ancient citadel located on a separate islet near the town of Ischia Ponte. Of course, you will learn about the history of these places from ancient times, legends, and stories of its inhabitants.
Procida - the abode of sirens and sailors
To this day, the island of Procida retains all the color of a typical fishing village with colorful houses of whimsical shapes, and unlike its sisters Capri and Ischia, it has not turned into a fashionable resort to this day. Nevertheless, it has not prevented it from entering the top ten most beautiful islands in the world and into the history of world cinema, serving as the backdrop for many films.
