About this experience
The Amalfi Coast is the azure sea and cozy houses, gardens and terraces, vineyards and lemon groves, as well as breathtaking views from any point. The coastal road itself is the main attraction of these places. In one day, we will visit the citrus Sorrento, fashionable Positano, the heart of the coast - Amalfi and the musical Ravello.
What to expect
Splendid views and limoncello factory
We will start our route with a scenic viewpoint on the coast and freshly squeezed lemon juice. I will help you take colorful photos and tell you about the history of this region, its legends, and traditions. Next, we will go to Sorrento, where we will walk around the city, visit a limoncello production factory (free of charge), and a panoramic terrace overlooking Mount Vesuvius.
Bohemian places
Continuing our journey along the mountain road, you will see the Li Galli archipelago, better known as "Nureyev's Island" - named after the former famous owner. We will make a stop at the "artist's viewpoint", where I will share interesting facts from the lives on the shores of the Rudolf Nureyev, Leonid Myasin, and Olga Khokhlova archipelago.
Luxurious Positano and fairytale Amalfi
Next, we will go to the viewpoint in Positano, where I will tell you facts and legends about the former capital of European summer fashion. And then we will stop in Amalfi. You will find out where the remains of St. Andrew the Apostle, brought here in 1208 from Constantinople, are kept in the 13th-century cathedral. I will show you the monument to Flavio Gioia and tell you about the maritime code, local traditions, and the history of the formation of the maritime republic.
Musical Ravello
And then we will visit the picturesque Ravello, famous for its panoramic view from the most beautiful terrace on the Amalfi Coast and the music festival. We will talk about the origin of the Villa Rufolo, where a large-scale creative event has been held for over 40 years.
