I invite you to visit the most beautiful corner of Italy, which has long attracted travelers with its ancient history, mysteries, and divine landscapes. You will see the two main towns of the island - Capri and Anacapri, enjoy mesmerizing views from the top of Mount Solaro, stroll through an ancient villa, winding streets, and shady gardens. I will tell you the story of Capri and its famous residents and help you embark on a journey through time: from the Phoenicians, through the Roman era, the times of Queen Joanna, to the 20th century.
What to Expect
Anacapri - ancient villa and luxurious views from Mount Solaro
The tour will start at Marina Grande pier, from where we will take a convertible carriage to the city of Anacapri, under the patronage of St. Michael. You will visit the luxurious San Michele villa of the Swedish physician Axel Munthe, built in the early 20th century. It is famous for its preserved original interiors, cascading gardens, and the Egyptian sphinx overlooking the Bay of Naples. I will share interesting legends of the villa and the fascinating life story of Axel Munthe. Then you will ascend to the top of Mount Solaro on the suspended chairlift. You will long remember the splendid panorama of the neighboring Ischia island, the sleeping Vesuvius volcano, and the Faraglioni rocks. After the descent, you will visit the church of Archangel Michael and admire the unique floor maiolica "The Expulsion of Adam and Eve from Paradise".
Capri - shady gardens and alluring scents
The second part of the tour is dedicated to Capri, the main town of the island, and its surroundings. You will visit the Cathedral of St. Stephen, the Cartesian monastery from the times of Queen Joanna, and the legendary perfume house, as well as stroll through the famous Gardens of Emperor Augustus. I will show you the monument to Lenin hidden under a pine branch and the mosaic dedicated to Maxim Gorky, who loved Capri very much and lived here for quite a long time. You will learn the stories, myths, and legends of one of the most beautiful islands of Italy and cherish memories of its romantic and serene atmosphere for a long time.

- Transport expenses: fast passenger boat - 42 euros (round trip) per person; convertible carriage as a means of city transport - 50 euros per group (Capri-Anacapri-Capri). From November to March, instead of a taxi-carriage, it is possible to use the city bus Port Capri - Anacapri - Port Capri (4€ per person).
- Tickets: chairlift to Monte Solaro - 12 euros per person (round trip); Villa San Michele - 10 euros per person; Church-Museum of Saint Michael - 2 euros per person
