About this experience
An unusual and full of impressions program for those who want to get acquainted with the best natural attractions of Kyrgyzstan. You will go on an exciting (and not at all difficult!) trek to the Konorchek canyons, and then relax in one of the country's most modern spa complexes under the open sky.
What to Expect
The 'Artery' of Kyrgyzstan
We will pick you up from your hotel in Bishkek and head towards one of the main connecting 'arteries' of Kyrgyzstan to Lake Issyk-Kul. The variety of views along the road will keep you entertained. The first part of the journey will pass through a plain surrounded by mountain ranges. And the second part - through the famous Boom Gorge with its steep slopes and switchbacks.
Trekking to the Canyons
To reach the canyons and enjoy the surrounding expanses, we will take a short trek along the ancient bed of a dried-up river. We will have to walk 1.8 km one way. There will be ascents, but not difficult ones: 'stairs' are laid in the rocks for your convenience. If you want to climb higher, you will have to overcome another 500 meters. But in the end, you will be rewarded!
Spa at Lake Issyk-Kul
Having spent energy on trekking, we will head to replenish it in the town of Balykchy (Fisherman), where we will have a meal at a cafe serving national cuisine. And then we will go to one of the newest spa complexes located on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul. You will have an hour to relax in 7 radon-rich open-air pools. The water in the pools is of different temperatures - choose the one that is comfortable for you.
Who Will Enjoy This Program
For adults and children who are ready for this route. Trekking takes about 2-2.5 hours each way.
