The picturesque town of Cuenca attracts travelers from all over the world not only with its preserved medieval atmosphere and cozy streets, but also with the unique 'Hanging Houses' from the 14th century, which were built on the edge of a sheer cliff. You will see all three houses that have survived to this day, and then take a walk to other attractions of Cuenca: visit the beautiful Gothic Cathedral, founded in the 12th century immediately after the expulsion of the Moors by King Alfonso VIII, see the 16th-century Mangana tower, used as the city clock, admire the picturesque churches of Saint Michael and Saint Nicholas. And, of course, wander through the narrow streets of the medieval Spanish town.
The Rocks of the Enchanted City
