About this experience
It's hard to say what is more in Milan - architectural masterpieces or mystique. Our walk will have it all! We will visit places that are shrouded in eerie legends. Witness illusions in the outlines of the church and a cannonball lodged in the facade of a house. Feel the sighs sealed in the walls of the oldest hospital. The spirits of the past are eager to reveal their secrets: listen to them - if you dare.
What to expect
- The Ossuary of Saint Bernardino and Lagetto - a place where marble for the Duomo cathedral has been unloaded for centuries. We will feel the energy of ancient stones and discuss why the church was built on bones.
- The oldest hospital Ca' Granda, where the secrets of the past permeate every corner and are eager to be revealed.
- Church of Saint Antonio Abate (exterior view), surrounded by a mystical atmosphere. Spirits of antiquity roam among the architectural details, so we will examine them especially carefully.
- Missori District, with the cursed house within it. According to legend, the devil himself lived here. A cannonball is stuck in the house's facade - it has become a symbol of the eternal struggle between light and darkness.
- Saint Alexander Square, where you will enjoy a walk and the magnificent focaccia baked according to centuries-old recipes.
- The church with an optical illusion in architecture, where the famous Bramante worked.
- A 200-year-old pastry shop and the very first supermarket in the city, where history, modernity, and mystique are closely intertwined.
- Excavations of the imperial palace and the emperor's baths
- Milan's Sistine Chapel, where Bernardino Luini worked. It was once a church at a monastery for girls.
