What to expect
Atypical route
We will stroll through the historic center of Milan and try to count all the statues on the Duomo (spoiler: it's unlikely to be possible!). We will visit the first shopping arcade in Europe and the medieval Mercanti square. We will see the place where the word 'bankrupt' originated, the Sforza Castle, which became the prototype of the Moscow Kremlin, and the scandalous statue in the heart of the city. We will walk through the bohemian alleys of the Brera district, turn onto the most expensive street in Europe, and admire the athletically built Napoleon.
Distinctive style
Milanese courtyards are a bright feature of the city. It is impossible to pass by the original frescoes on the walls of residential buildings! We will not just pass by. We will observe passers-by - you will easily understand what exemplary Milanese style is. I will tell local legends from different eras of the city, give gastronomic advice, show the most photogenic places, and share secret information: where in Milan to see pink flamingos and which museums to visit for free. And at the end of the walk, I will leave you with a city map with my recommendations and all the places we visited.
