About this experience
I invite you to an unusual excursion, during which you will not only get acquainted with Stockholm, but also see many truly unusual monuments.
Program
- We will start the walk from the Southern Island. We will see the city from a bird's eye view. You will see monuments to a rat and a pigeon. You will find out why a monument to a plumber was erected in the city and who paid for this monument.
- In the Old Town, we will walk through the narrowest alley and see the church where Princess Victoria was crowned.
- Our path then leads to the Royal Palace. And, of course, we will approach the smallest sculpture in Sweden. Get a coin ready! Why? You will find out.
- Then our path will lead to the Parliament, which stands on a separate island, next to it is a monument to poverty.
- We will take a stroll through the Royal Park, where the Opera House is located. We will see the Synagogue and next to it the monument "Valenberg's Thoughts".
- We will also visit the Dramatic Theatre, where you will learn about the kind heart of the actress Margareta Krook - her monument stands here. Next to Margareta is the iron head of Strindberg with very strange mustaches, which he put on when going to bed, in a special cover.
What else? A bit of intrigue...
