The program includes two significant places for the Christian world: the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, where the Chiton of the Lord is kept, and the Jvari Monastery, erected on the site where the Georgian enlightener St. Nino erected the first cross in the Iberian land. Here you will discover one of the most recognizable panoramas of the country - the one immortalized in the poem "Mtsyri".

Uplistsikhe: successful life in caves
We will drive westward and travel back in history - to the times of pagan Georgia. In the ancient cave city of Uplistsikhe, which was carved out of the rock for centuries, you cannot help but marvel at the titanic work of its creators. Strolling through Uplistsikhe, you will learn about the heyday of this place and see the sun worship temple, sacrificial pits, numerous tunnels, a pharmacy, and a Hellenistic theater where performances have not been staged for over one and a half thousand years.
