About this experience
During this private tour, you will experience the historical heritage and gastronomic traditions of medieval Serbia, as well as enjoy relaxing time at a modern spa center.
Program
- Departure from Belgrade early in the morning.
- Tour of the royal city of Kruševac, from where Tsar Lazar with elite Serbian troops entered history in 1389, fighting in the Battle of Kosovo Field: 'Lazar's City', Donjon tower, Church of 'Lazarica' (14th century), national museum, monument to Kosovar heroes.
- Visit to the St. Roman monastery (9th century), where the heart of Count Raevsky rests, the prototype of Vronsky from Leo Tolstoy's novel 'Anna Karenina', a volunteer who died here in the battle for the liberation of Serbs from Turkish rule.
- Now it's time to have lunch at a national restaurant where you will try authentic Serbian dishes and drinks.
- Departure to the Ribarska-Banja resort - one of the oldest resorts in Serbia. Next to the sanatorium, a modern spa center has been established with indoor and outdoor pools with thermo-mineral water at 37 degrees (especially beneficial for strengthening bones), a sauna, a salt room, a Turkish bath, and numerous additional procedures. You will see that here you can truly rejuvenate your soul and body!
- Return to Belgrade late in the evening.
