What to expect
National Museum: immersing in history
In the beautiful colonial building of the Singapore National Museum, you will examine artifacts from the 12th century, historical documents, and collections of paintings and photographs of the country in different periods of history. I will tell you about ancient empires and sultanates to which Singapore belonged. And also about how the island changed with the arrival of the British East India Company and what happened here during World War II.
Picturesque Fort Canning and riverboat cruise
You will stroll through Fort Canning Park - a green oasis in the heart of the city. Learn what was in this place in ancient times and how its significance changed in the colonial period. Then take a colorful stroll along Clarke Quay, where you will board a riverboat and enjoy the views of historical Singapore from the water! The tour will end at the Marina Bay shopping complex.
