About this experience
I will be your personal guide and show you all the beauties of the island of Mahe. The excursion program depends on your preferences: we can go to the mountains, admire panoramas from observation decks, have a beach relaxation day or explore the local flora in national parks. You will learn about the history of the islands and immerse yourself in the modern life of the Creole people.
What to expect
Entertainment of your choice
What this day will be like is up to you. I suggest taking a walk along Pirate's Alley: I will share stories with you about the times when these guys held more than one fleet in fear. Or we can visit the favorite places of the British royal family and visit the ruins of the Mission village: there is an observation deck with a great view. If you wish, we can go to the Botanical Garden or the Royal Spice Garden, where you will see the unusual Coco-de-Mer nut shape and even meet giant land tortoises.
Beach relaxation
The Seychelles islands are famous for their white sandy beaches - with sand as fine as flour. We can visit some of them, enjoy landscapes like in a Bounty ad, swim and even snorkel in a quiet cove.
Bananas, coconuts
You will get acquainted with Creole cuisine - or have lunch with familiar European dishes. But I highly recommend enjoying the drink "Rum in a coconut", which is produced only on the islands and nowhere else in the world.
Into the mountains!
If desired and if energy allows, we can take a walk in the mountains. The hike takes 1.5 hours round trip, but it's worth it: from a bird's eye view you will see a breathtaking view of the island. Photos always turn out great here!
