Samui is a fantastic place. Here you will find vibrant jungles and white sandy beaches, as well as magnificent temples and sculptures. In just 1 day, you will visit several locations. You will see the monk's mummy and the burial site of the island's first tourist. Walk through the Magical Garden and learn about its creator. Toss a coin into the Buddha's Footprint and understand why there are parts of the Big Buddha's staircase you cannot walk on.
What to Expect
On our itinerary, there are several attractions:
- Big Buddha - the talisman of Samui. You will learn why the steps are divided into three zones and which one tourists should not walk on.
- Temple of Three Religions. You will touch upon Chinese and Indian beliefs and optionally feed the fish.
- Pagoda with a beautiful view of the airport. Here you can toss a coin into the Buddha's Footprint and make a wish.
- Red Temple, where the first tourist to visit the island is buried. I will tell you about the prominent family who visited this place in 1962.
- Chinese Cultural Center. You will admire a huge statue of a warrior and learn about Chinese civilization.
- Grandfather and Grandmother Rock - a natural monument popular due to its resemblance to male and female genitalia. From here, you will enjoy a wonderful view of the Gulf of Siam.
- Mummified Monk Temple. You will see the mummy of a monk who died in a lotus position and remained that way. You can try your luck with fortune sticks in the temple and learn about your future.
- Magical Garden, also known as a paradise corner. You will hear the legend of a farmer who created paradise on earth. Admire dozens of stone sculptures and a picturesque waterfall.
And that's not all! You will visit mysterious jungles, explore a souvenir market, and enjoy panoramas of the island from different viewpoints. At the end, a fairytale sunset and dinner at a cafe with a beautiful view await you.
