About this experience
Contemporary of the city and child of Peter the Great, the factory was once one of the largest in Russia, and the lake created for it became one of the world's first artificial reservoirs. I witnessed the period when the role of the city-forming enterprise in the life of native Sestroretsk was evident. And now, with the factory closed, I want to preserve the memory of it - and I will be happy to tell you about the amazing past of the legendary domestic factory.

Glorious Past
You will hear the history of the creation of the Sestroretsk weapons (instrumental) plant. Find out how the hydraulic structures of the factory reservoir (Razliv Lake) are arranged. During the tour, you will see the factory reservoir - Razliv Lake, one of the oldest reservoirs in the world! Explore Karl Gaussman's dam, the embankment dams of Sestroretsk, and the historic building of the factory. We will not overlook the monument to Sergey Mosin, the monument to the founding of the Sestroretsk weapons plant, and the building of the Craft and Weapons School founded by Sergey Mosin.
