About this experience
Unveil the authentic Crete in the company of a professional and charismatic guide! He will show you the most impressive sights: a mysterious cave with a rich history, a village of potters, a picturesque mountain lake with turtles. And also the Venetian town of Rethymno - a city with centuries-old history and enchanting atmospheric alleyways.
What to Expect
Melidoni Cave
Entering inside, we will immerse ourselves in a world of mysterious stalactites and stalagmites, creating fantastic shapes and figures. Soft lighting accentuates the beauty of these natural sculptures, and the mysterious atmosphere immerses us in the delightful world of ancient legends and myths of the island of Crete.
Traditional Cretan Craft in the village of Margarites
Margarites is a living museum of traditional arts. Here, among narrow atmospheric alleyways, workshops are located where craftsmen lovingly create clay products using ancient techniques. You will see how exquisite vases, pottery, and decorative elements are born from simple pieces of clay.
Kournas Turtle Lake
You will enjoy the crystal clear water of the lake, surrounded by mountains and olive groves. On the shore, cozy taverns are located where you can taste local delicacies while watching ducks, or rent a catamaran and go in search of funny turtles.
Charming town of Rethymno
This is a city where Venetian architecture is mixed with the East. Strolling through its narrow cobblestone streets, we will immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of the past. We will see elegant Venetian mansions, majestic fortress, and alleys drowning in flowers. It is no coincidence that Rethymno is considered one of the most beautiful cities in Crete!
