Lisbon welcomed sailors and merchants with bustling boulevards and squares, but when evening fell, the streets emptied. Instead, they filled with the homes of night butterflies. There was an establishment for every purse. During the evening walk, you will see the places where public houses were located, learn about the famous courtesans and their influence on the history of Portugal.

For centuries, night cities have hidden secrets and dangerous adventures. The night is the life of public houses, restaurants, casinos, a time for adventurers. Society tries not to talk about this side of the coin, but always dreams of knowing more. Lisbon is a port city. It has always been filled with such establishments for sailors, merchants, spies, and 'gentlemen of fortune,' and on the tour, we will follow in their footsteps.
Through Public Places
We will begin the walk in the Moraria district. We will visit the 'Pigalle Dance' and find the famous public house from the beginning of the 20th century. We will visit a bakery that was very popular with the most famous Lisbon celebrity, Fernanda Preta. Then we will head to the Shiado Palace, where you will see an interesting monument called 'Naked Truth.' We will end the tour in the trendy 'Mercado da Ribeira.'
