On my tour, you will visit the most iconic coffee places in Rome, taste the best espresso in the city, get acquainted with Italian coffee traditions, and gain a better understanding of the everyday culture of the Eternal City. All the stops on our route are located in the historical center of Rome, so you will not only enjoy aromatic coffee but also explore the city's landmarks.

Best Coffee in the Eternal City
Morning will start in the historical center of Rome, where near the Pantheon you can try one of the best espressos in Rome that has been available for 80 years. Here we will have a leisurely breakfast, observing the awakening city, and then continue to explore the most delicious coffee spots in Rome. You will visit two establishments competing for the title of the best coffee shop in the Eternal City and try to make your choice in favor of one of them. You will visit the oldest cafe in Rome, where a real gallery is located, and enjoy a cup of cappuccino at a table where Gogol wrote the first volume of "Dead Souls." Discover a third-wave Roman coffee shop. Understanding so many types of excellent coffee is not easy, so to not miss anything, at the beginning of the tour, you will receive special cards to evaluate each drink.
Roman Coffee Culture
Strolling from one coffee shop to another among the main attractions of Rome, we will talk about the coffee consumption culture in Italy, the favorite coffee drinks of Romans, and the traditions associated with them. You will find out how many times a day every self-respecting Roman drinks coffee, why the inhabitants of the Eternal City prefer to enjoy espresso at the bar counter, learn about the historical aspect of the coffee issue, all against the backdrop of the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, and other Roman treasures.
