About this experience
I will show you the 'ancient heart' of the great Rome: the Colosseum, the Forums, and the Palatine Hill, as well as the most picturesque hidden corners. I will narrate about antiquity, love, food, and power in a lively manner. And I will also capture on camera your emotions from meeting the Eternal City.
What to Expect
Rome through the Ages
During an hour and a half, I will immortalize you against the backdrop of the city's most important places of your choice:
- against the majestic Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and in the orange garden with a mesmerizing view of the Vatican
- against the incredibly photogenic Altar of the Fatherland overlooking the ruins of the Roman Forums, where two thousand years ago, a bustling political, commercial, and social life was thriving
- in the beautiful Villa Borghese park with a view of the city from above and a boat ride on the beautiful lake with ducks
- on the Spanish Steps with typical Roman alleys lined with cafes and shops - for lovers of street life photographs
- in other places by agreement and depending on your preferences
History and Legends of Rome
You will not only get stunning photos but also learn the 'juice' of ancient Roman life: what the Romans ate and drank, how they conquered cities and countries, who they believed in and worshipped, why they could execute a woman, and why the Colosseum is called that.
And we will definitely stop somewhere to have a delicious coffee, eat ice cream or tiramisu - I am all for our tour to be a real pleasure, not a rush to see the sights.
Organizational Details
- The photo walk usually takes place in the morning or closer to the evening to capture the perfect sunlight for photos. In case of rain, I will suggest an alternative date.
- Do not worry if you have never posed or do not consider yourself photogenic. Usually, the best photos come from 'live,' real, 'non-model' people.
- Within 4 days after the photo walk, I will send you all the best photos in light retouching (10 pieces) and all the successful originals without processing (at least 30 more pieces).
