About this experience
We will show you a different Istanbul: it will amaze you with unique tastes and views! You will go on a sea trip to the distant and quiet shores of the Bosphorus, see the symbol of the city, the residence of the sultans, luxurious villas. You will taste flourless pastries, traditional Turkish pie with signature tea, and unusual street food dishes.
What to Expect
- The first place you will see from the water is the residence of the last sultans of the Ottoman Empire - Dolmabahçe Palace. Here the sultans ruled the state, cunning women from the harem weaved intrigues, and the great father of the Turks spent his last days.
- Also, the shores of the Bosphorus are known for their luxurious 19th-century villas. While you admire them, the guide will tell you how they appeared and what has become of them today.
- Then we will show you the symbol of Istanbul - the bridge, thanks to which the first communication between continents appeared.
- After the bridge, our ship will dock in the Çengelköy area for the first tasting. You will try börek - traditional Turkish pie, which locals eat for breakfast with tea. You will also have a cup of aromatic coffee.
- Then we will stroll through the Çengelköy district. The guide will tell you the history of this place and show you its most beautiful corners.
- After the walk, there will be another tasting! This time you will try an unusual and very popular street food dish, and then you will learn what it consists of. Don't worry - all the Turkish TV stars and famous people of Istanbul have eaten it!
- Then we will head to one of the most beautiful promenades, where you will taste a traditional dessert made of semolina porridge with pine nuts and ice cream.
- We will move by public transport to the Kuzguncuk district, where 3 religious confessions coexist. You will learn what was here in the time of Byzantium, see how the district lives today, and taste the famous local flourless and butterless pastries.
