What to expect
Gur-Emir Mausoleum. Visit the resting place of the "Ruler of the West and East" - Timur. Also buried here are his sons, grandsons, and spiritual mentor. I will tell you about the life and victorious campaigns of the great conqueror.
Registan Square. In the 15th-17th centuries, it was the educational and spiritual center of the city. You will examine in detail the madrasahs located on the square: Ulugbek, Sher-Dor, and Tilla-Kari. And I will share insights into the brilliant architecture of the Timurid era.
Bibi-Khanym Mosque. The largest Friday mosque in Central Asia of its time. You will learn to whom it is dedicated and admire its interiors.
Shah-i-Zinda Memorial Complex. The burial place of the Karakhanid and Timurid nobility. Built in the Middle Ages, it will captivate you with its scale and magnificent architecture.
