About this experience
Phuket Town is hidden in the depths of the island, far from the beaches and hustle. There are no crowds of tourists, noisy bars, or deafening music. Instead, there are charming cafes with interesting interiors and ancient buildings in Chinese-Portuguese style. I will introduce you to the 'other' Thailand, which you will definitely fall in love with forever!
What to expect
Phuket Town is a mix of European (mostly Portuguese) and Chinese architecture with hints of local flora and fauna. Let's experience its diversity in full.
- Visit the Tin Mining Museum. The island's history began with this element, and I will tell you all about it.
- Step into the ancient temple complex Kaew Rang, where we will talk about the philosophy of Buddhism.
- Climb up to the viewpoint of Kaew Rang and Monkey Hill, admire the surroundings from bird's eye view, and meet the agile and cheeky local residents - monkeys.
- Stop for lunch at a cozy restaurant. I am a professional chef, so I can recommend what to try, and then I will talk long and deliciously about the national Thai cuisine and its peculiarities.
- Stroll through the central square of the Old Town, as well as the famous night market, streets of Krabi, Thibuk, Romani, and others. We will explore the Chinese-Portuguese mansions and colorful graffiti that adorn the area.
- End the day with a peaceful sunset on the promenade of Sapan Hin.
