Now Barcelona is a peaceful city. No one is harmed here. But over two thousand years, Barcelona has been the scene of many horrifying stories. Ritual murders. Domestic executions. Cruel tortures. Devious poisonings. I will take you to the places linked to the most nightmarish stories of the past.
Program
We will visit the square where witches were burned. We will touch the stones on which the heads of the executed rolled. We will enter the shop where candles of a special kind were sold. We will walk up the stairs that the Holy Inquisition took to the place of execution of witches. We will see the street down which a barrel filled with broken glass was rolled, and inside this barrel sat... I will tell you!
We will walk along the alleys that were literally filled with blood - bloody rivers ran through them towards the sea. We will see the Alchemist's house, whose deadly poison claimed the lives of hundreds of people - and the villain, in the end, lost his mind. We will visit the place where residents and guests of the city occasionally see a ghost - a girl begging forgiveness from a hanged young man. We will see the windows of the apartment that housed a children's brothel for many years.
