In this program, we have combined several natural beauties of Azerbaijan. You will visit the mystical mountain Beshbarmag and learn why it attracts hundreds of pilgrims. You will admire the unusual pink lake and witness a real miracle - the 'Earth Rainbow'. And to conclude, you will visit a real fish market!
What awaits you
Pink Lake
We will start the tour by visiting the pink lake. There are only 9 lakes in the world with a similar color, and one of them is located near the capital of Azerbaijan. We will tell you about the origin of this shade and get as close to the water as possible. Along the way, you will see a reservoir with emerald color and cozy plots of summer residents who decided to escape from the city bustle.
'Earth Rainbow'
Agate or caramel mountains are unmistakable: on the gentle slopes, horizontal stripes of red, yellow, green, and orange colors alternate. These are different mountain rocks that go in layers, giving rise to such an 'earth rainbow'. Similar wonders can be found in China, Argentina, Peru, Mauritius, the USA, and... not far from Baku. And you will see them with your own eyes! The photos on these mountains turn out colorful, vivid, and unusual.
The Legendary Mountain
The most mystical place on the route will be the mountain Beshbarmag. You will learn the legend that attracts hundreds of pilgrims here annually. Having found a water source on the mountain, you will try the 'elixir of eternal youth'.
Fish Market
At the end of the tour, we will visit a fish market for the locals in the city of Siyazan. There you will be offered to taste caviar, and if desired, you can buy freshly caught sturgeon or beluga - and not far from the market, in a restaurant, you will be served fish.
Organizational details
- The tour is conducted in a comfortable SUV, sedan, or minivan depending on the number of participants
- In the summer period, it is advisable to bring a head covering. Comfortable shoes will help you move around the locations comfortably.
- Lunch is not included in the price, the average check for fish and its preparation per person will be 12-20 euros
