Agate, Rainbow, or just Colored Mountains of Hyzy
The Hyzy district is known for mountains with colorful yellow-red lines created by nature itself. Wavy stripes stretch for kilometers along the road and resemble alien landscapes. Similar landscapes can only be seen in Death Valley in the USA. You will learn about the nature of the formation of such an unusual landscape and enjoy extraordinary views.

Once this area was hidden under the waters of the ocean, and today on the slopes, you can see the remains of cephalopods - belemnites, contemporaries of dinosaurs. Shells of ancient predators can be taken with you as a souvenir.

Then you will visit a national park created in 2004 in the Hyzy district. You will learn about the projects implemented here for the conservation, restoration, and research of nature. You will admire the Atachay River and broad-leaved forests. Get to know the representatives of the local fauna in the zoo. And if desired, take a cable car ride to panoramic views of the reserve.

The next point on the program is a place of wonders and beauty, from high cliffs and meadows to ancient ruins and mysterious legends. The 382-meter mountain is known as a defensive monument with a centuries-old history, as well as a center of pilgrimage, where thousands of people from all over the republic come every year.
