About this experience
Welcome to the master class on making Turkish coffee! You will learn how to understand coffee beans, discover the nuances of preparing this invigorating drink, try to brew coffee yourself, and then take a peek into your future. You will also receive a pleasant (and useful!) gift from our workshop for the coziest coffee ceremonies.
What to expect
At the master class you will:
- Learn how Turkish coffee originated and what traditions are associated with it
- Study the equipment and understand how to use it
- Smell the aromas of eight types of coffee beans and choose the one you like the most
- Process the beans and prepare your perfect coffee (on sand and on the stove) under the guidance of a master who will explain all the nuances and subtleties
- Try the resulting drink with sweets and spices
- Learn how to fortune tell on coffee grounds and understand the meanings of different symbols
The master will also tell you how to make coffee on sand at home and how to choose the right accompaniment for it. At the end, each guest will receive a gift from us - a copper coffee pot, coffee, a cup, and a saucer.
Organizational details
- We have an instructor who speaks Russian
- Coffee workshop sessions are held daily from 08:00 to 22:00
- The program will be interesting for participants from 14 years old
- No mandatory additional expenses are provided. If desired, you will be able to purchase different types of coffee, a coffee pot, and a coffee grinder.
