About this experience
As night falls and the streams of tourists subside, the city's landmarks are painted with magic, and the sacred symbols and invisible messages of the masters of antiquity are revealed before you. I will tell you about the legends and myths of ancient Verona. You will learn how gladiators lived and died, in which schools they studied, and how their bodies were used after death.
What to Expect
- Piazza delle Erbe - one of the oldest in Europe. In the past, it was a Roman forum.
- Piazza dei Signori, or Dante's square, described in the famous 'Divine Comedy'
- Scaliger Family Church and their mystical cemetery. You will appreciate this masterpiece of Gothic style.
- Basilica of St. Anastasia, shrouded in centuries-old secrets and mysteries. I will tell you who rebuilt it in the 13th century.
- Stone Bridge - the oldest in Verona and the only one preserved from the Roman era
- Porta dei Borsari - surviving facade of a 1st-century Roman customs office
- Church of San Teuterio and Tosca - the oldest Paleo-Christian church in the Veneto region. I will tell the legend of the two hermit friends buried here.
- Ancient Roman triumphal arch Gavi, which was destroyed by Napoleon and restored during fascism

- Roman amphitheater Arena di Verona - evidence of the life and death of gladiators
