To get acquainted with the city, we will walk through the central part of Lyon and visit three quarters listed by UNESCO. We will climb up Fourvière Hill, where two Roman theaters are spread, the majestic Notre Dame Basilica will captivate you with its decoration. By the Saône river, the medieval streets of Old Lyon will take you to the time of Henri IV and the lush celebration of the Renaissance. Peeking into the traboules of houses, you will admire the simple logic of the quarter's inhabitants. Presqu'île will delight you with the grandiose facades of magnificent buildings and beautiful squares. The weavers' workshops will introduce you to the main wealth of Lyon in the 17-19th centuries - silk and the unparalleled technical invention of the early 19th century - the Jacquard loom.
