About this experience
In a comfortable car, we will go together to enjoy the wonderful landscapes of Armenia! You will visit the famous Lake Sevan, appreciate the blooming mountain resort Dilijan, and explore the ancient monasteries: Sevanavank and Agharcin. You will also see the monument to the heroes of 'Mimino' and learn about local traditions, culture, and history.
What to expect
The journey takes place through the highlands of Armenia: Lake Sevan is located at an altitude of 1900 meters above sea level, and Dilijan at an altitude of 1500 m. The area is surrounded by 24,000 hectares of preserved forest, so the air here is very pure. By coming here even for a day, you will not only relax but also improve your health.
Key attractions
- Lake Sevan. The second largest high-altitude lake in Eurasia. You will hear the legends associated with it, climb to the top of the Akhtamar Peninsula, and admire the lake from above.
- Sevanavank Monastery. Built in the 9th century, it is on the list of the country's oldest monasteries. You will learn about the times of its decline and flourishing, observe the black walls and golden iconostasis.
- Resort town Dilijan. In Armenia, they say: 'If paradise had forests, mountains, and mineral springs, then paradise would resemble Dilijan.' You will stroll through its cozy streets and appreciate the justice of these words.
- Agharcin Monastery. Located in a wooded valley, in the upper reaches of the river of the same name, it will captivate you with picturesque views and rich history.
- Parz Lake. One of the most romantic places not only in the Dilijan National Park but in all of Armenia. Here you can take a walk, admire nature, and if you wish, take a boat ride or fly over the lake on a zipline.
