What to expect
Cathedral and views of Kashin from above
We will visit the largest temple of the Tver diocese - the Resurrection Cathedral, where the relics of the Blessed Princess Anna Kashinskaya are kept. We will admire the German clock of 1872, which has never been repaired since its creation. Optionally, we will climb to the observation deck and enjoy views from above of the Kashinka River, winding gracefully through the city and forming the silhouette of a heart.
Nicholas Monastery from the inside
You will enter the active Nicholas Klobukov Women's Monastery, where the cell of the Venerable Makary of Kalyazin and over 400 particles of the relics of saints are located. You will decipher the peculiarities of the monastery's architecture and hear about interesting events associated with it. You will also discover how Kashin is connected to Jerusalem and what is the specificity of its urban planning system.
