Bali is famous not only for its beaches. The nature of the island is beautiful and diverse. I will take you to reserves where amazing birds and funny monkeys live in natural conditions, bright butterflies flutter, and orchids delight the eye. You will get acquainted with the flora and fauna of Bali, enjoy the riot of tropical colors, and surely take a million photos.
What to expect
- Monkey forest Wanara Wana Ubud. Hundreds of animals live here in natural conditions under state protection. You will be able to take pictures of them from many convenient angles, and also walk among lush vegetation and see unique giant trees.
- Bird park is located in the village of Singapadu. There are more than 1000 different birds living here, which are housed in huge aviaries or move freely around the area. In the park, you will also admire the incredibly colorful and diverse flora, consisting of 2000 tropical plants. There are about 50 species of palms here!
- Butterfly and orchid park is a wonderful place for inspiring walks and bright photographs. The park is a luxurious green garden, full of exotic inhabitants: tropical butterflies, blooming orchids of various shades, and trees grown according to bonsai technology.
- Tegenungan Waterfall in the Kemenuh area. You will see a 20-meter cascade of water from several platforms, walk on a bamboo bridge, see unusual stone pyramids, and then relax in a cafe overlooking Tegenungan and buy souvenirs in local shops.
