About this experience
The Red Canyon near the city of Eilat will amaze you with 'Martian' landscapes and incredible mountain panoramas. This will be an exciting scenic journey: you will walk between narrow cliffs of soft red rock, find stunning angles for photographs, and encounter the fantastic nature of Israel.
What to expect
The canyon will not start immediately, at first it will be something like a dried-up riverbed. But when it begins, you will not regret coming here. Wind and water erosion have created something unimaginable with the soft red sandstone. You will move through wide gorges, almost caves, slide down dried-up 'waterfalls', and squeeze between narrow rocks. In some places where the path is especially difficult, steps with iron railings are hammered into the rocks. Therefore, everyone capable of walking independently, including young children and elderly people, can complete this short route (a few hundred meters).
We pick you up from the hotel and bring you back. Be sure to have with you:
