About this experience
If the theater starts from the hanger, then the city of Eilat starts from a real oasis in the desert. Spending a couple of hours in the Eilat Botanical Garden, you will see baobabs and fruit trees, stroll through the rain in a tropical forest, enjoy the riot of colors and aromas of herbs!
What to expect
The garden is located on the site of a former military base, once again proving that the best for us and our children is peace! Located practically in the desert, the garden is completely man-made - both terraces paved with stone, a waterfall, a pond, and even a small river - everything here is made by human hands.
If you didn't know this, walking through the garden, you might think that people simply beautifully decorated a paradise corner of nature - everything is so skillfully executed. Ancient stone terraces recreate streams, a lake, waterfalls, wooden and stone buildings, and much more. Three observation platforms with views of the Red Sea and the Edom Mountains have been built in the garden.
The unique ecological botanical garden, practically unparalleled in the world, is recreated in a biblical style! The collection of plants gathered here from around the world creates an atmosphere of jungles, waterfalls, and murmuring streams. The gem of the collection is the tropical forest where it rains. The coolness of water droplets envelops visitors of this amazing place, creating a paradise in the middle of the desert, where you will find comfortable walking routes for the whole family, a cafe with natural organic products, decorative souvenirs, and much, much more.
