About this experience
Scarlet valleys, sculptural rocks, and stone arches make Wadi Rum desert one of the most mysterious and picturesque places on the planet. From Amman, we will head into this world of red sands: here you will switch to jeeps and explore the attractions of Wadi Rum such as Khazali Canyon, Burdah Bridge, and other points of interest. We will provide you with interesting facts about the desert and suggest photo angles.
What to Expect
Travel through the red sands of Wadi Rum!
From Amman, we will set out to meet the endless sunset-colored sandy valleys. In Wadi Rum, you will switch to jeeps and in 2 hours get acquainted with the symbols of the desert - the guide will tell you the most interesting facts about each. You will see Khazali Canyon with steep, tall, and textured walls. You will climb up to Lawrence of Arabia Spring. Examine the Seven Pillars of Wisdom rock, where an annual music festival is held, and the rock arch-bridge of Burdah. And of course, you will take dozens of space-like photographs.
Stories, mysteries, and film locations
Along the way, the guide will reveal the secrets of the amazing red color of Wadi Rum sands, the origin of whimsical rocks and arches that are timeless and civilization-resistant. They will also tell you about the movies shot in the desert settings: from 'Lawrence of Arabia' and 'Indiana Jones' to 'The Martian' and 'Dune'.
After the safari, you can optionally have a snack or go for a camel ride, and then we will head back to your hotel in Amman.

Organizational Details
How the Excursion Goes
- A Russian-speaking guide from our team accompanies you throughout the entire route
- The guide will meet you at the hotel in Amman, you will travel to Wadi Rum with the guide and driver (the journey takes about 4 hours) in a comfortable car
- The desert safari is conducted on 6-seater jeeps

- Included: transport to/from the hotel in Amman, jeep safari (2 hours)
- Additional costs: entrance tickets - $10/person, camel ride and lunch if desired
