Embark on an exciting and easy hiking adventure to the picturesque corner of Georgia! Mtirala Park is beautiful in any season, and in the hot summer, it is a great 'escape' from the hotel. You will enjoy the coastline, pass through green jungles, enjoy the sound of a waterfall, and swim in a mountain lake. And to top it off, you will have a delicious lunch at a trout farm.
What to Expect
Batumi from above and a beautiful road
The day will start with the best viewpoint in the vicinity of the city - at the magnificent Sameba temple. From here, you will have a panorama of the Black Sea coast of Georgia and all of Batumi with its suburbs, snugly nestled on the Adjarian foothills. You will take many photos, and I will tell you about the city and the history of the temple.
The road to Mtirala Park will pass along the coast and through the center of the Georgian tea-growing region with tea plantations and factories. Along the way, we will talk about the mentality and way of life of the inhabitants of Adjara - believe me, there is much to be surprised about!
Mtirala Park - rest for the soul and joy for the eyes
You will have to conquer the most beautiful route of the national park - the trail runs along a mountain river. From the scorching sun, we can always hide in the shade of rare plants from the Ice Age, so you will enjoy the freshness and coolness. Among the greenery, you can ride a zipline, and after that a cable car crossing over a turbulent river awaits you. We will rest near a mountain lake, where you can swim and listen to non-trivial stories about Mtirala: for example, about a military radio base on the mountain and the largest air crash in Georgia.
As you advance further through the jungles, you will hear the loud noise of water. And you will find yourself at the final destination of the route - a picturesque waterfall. Here, natural idyll reigns, and the water droplets falling on your face are so refreshing after a walk.
Lunch in a picturesque place
Having visited many restaurants in the vicinity, I have chosen the best option - a trout farm near a mountain river. You will see how trout are grown here, carp in the neighboring lake, and rabbits in the aviary. You will relax in gazebos in the shade of trees overlooking the beauty of Mtirala Mountain. You will taste trout, delicious Georgian dishes, and Adjarian wine.

Organizational Details
- I will pick you up at your hotel in Batumi and drop you back. Transportation costs are included in the price (comfortable minivan).
- Transfer is possible from Mahindjauri and Chakvi (at no extra charge), from Kvariati, Gonio, Sarpi, Chakvi (with an extra charge of 5 euros per person), from Kobuleti (with an extra charge of 10 euros per person).
- Lunch is not included in the price
- It is better to come to the tour in comfortable shoes
