About this experience
Istanbul will conquer you with its diversity, magnificent panoramas, historic architecture, and the spirit of a modern city. In the European quarters, you will see its main attractions, and in the Asian part, you will immerse yourself in a relaxed non-touristic atmosphere, visit an authentic Turkish bazaar, and feel like a local resident.
What to expect
Postcard Istanbul
You will see the most important places in the European part of the city: Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and Sultanahmet Square, where the Hippodrome used to be located. I will tell you how Istanbul's history unfolded and what traces the three greatest empires - Ottoman, Roman, and Byzantine - left in it. I will also reveal what the everyday life of the sultans consisted of and what period of the city's development is called the 'Golden Age'.
Istanbul from the inside
After enjoying European Istanbul, we will take a ferry to Asia! You will breathe in the sea air, admire the Old City panorama from the water, and appreciate the famous Maiden's Tower. Then we will explore the colorful district of Kadikoy: you will see the Orthodox Church of Saint Euphemia, the bronze bull statue, the opera house, and the Armenian Church of Surb Takavor. Additionally, you will visit the fish market and find the intersection of six roads.
