What to Expect
🥗 1001 Plates - Istanbul Breakfast!
Our adventure will start with breakfast. On a terrace with a view of the Golden Horn bay, you will be served juicy vegetables, olives, fresh pastries, sweet buns, slices of cheese, sausages, honey, jam, and fruits - a feast for the eyes! And all these will be accompanied by tea in a traditional tulip-shaped glass.
🍓 Egyptian Bazaar for Gourmets
After breakfast, we will head to Istanbul's oldest eastern bazaar - the Egyptian Bazaar. You will appreciate various preserves - cherry, strawberry, fig, apricot, and quince, as well as Turkish delight and other sweets. I will show you where to find the most delicious Turkish coffee, help you choose spices. And if you want, we can even read your fortune in the coffee grounds.
☕ From Europe to Asia: Coffee in Uskudar
We will cross the waters of the Bosphorus to the Asian part of Istanbul, admiring the city and its Ottoman architecture from the water. Arriving in Uskudar, we will stroll through narrow streets among colorful houses, white minarets, and antique shops. At the Salacak promenade, we will enjoy a cup of coffee overlooking the Maiden's Tower.
🌯 Secret Gastronomic Spots of Istanbul
Now we head to the Karakoy area, where you will taste balik-ekmek - it's even tastier here than in the Super Mario game! After that, we will walk through Taksim Square and Istiklal Street, where the spirit of freedom reigns: restaurants coexist with cheap diners, temples of all faiths - with nightclubs. And we will finish near the Galata Tower, where you can try roasted chestnuts and sesame bagels called simit.
