What to expect
Istanbul Symbols
I will tell you about the magnificent Hagia Sophia Cathedral and explain why in the Ottoman period some architects working on it had their hands cut off. I will also reveal the history of the Topkapi Palace and the secrets of the famous Blue Mosque, built back in the 17th century. You will also hear the legends of the Maiden's Tower and find out why the 'Bosphorus Bridge' was renamed the 'July 15 Martyrs Bridge'.
Historical and modern Istanbul
You will get acquainted with the mosque of Suleiman the Magnificent, marvel at the views of the Bosphorus and find out where the beloved of Sultan Hurrem is buried. And then you will immerse yourself in the Ottoman era and the atmosphere of the bazaars, learning all the secrets of trading.
